History. Opened in 1957, Mary Carroll High School is currently the second largest and third oldest school in the Corpus Christi Independent School District. The school is named for the Corpus Christi Independent School District's first female superintendent. Carroll has moved to a new site and opened a new campus as of August, 2022. School Motto.

Tuloso-Midway Independent School District began in 1887 when a schoolhouse was constructed on donated land in the Tuloso area.
