The SAF Scholarship, formerly known as the SAF Overseas Scholarship ( SAFOS ), is a scholarship conferred by the Public Service Commission (PSC). The scholarship is second in prestige to the President's Scholarship. Scholars are groomed for the highest levels of command and management in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and beyond.
Gaining a GPA of 5.0 or A+ is naturally considered as a good result. However, since a student can gain grade far above the required 80% to receive a GPA of 5.0, the actual grades received in each subject is also included in the official mark sheets given by the education board for PSC, JSC, SSC and HSC exams.
