Albania (/ æ l ˈ b eɪ n i ə, ɔː l-/ ⓘ a(w)l-BAY-nee-ə; Albanian: Shqipëri or Shqipëria), officially the Republic of Albania (Albanian: Republika e Shqipërisë), is a country in Southeast Europe.
