Founded in 1967, Humber has three main campuses and locations: the Humber North campus, the Lakeshore campus, and the International Graduate School.
Humber. The Humber / ˈhʌmbər / is a large tidal estuary on the east coast of Northern England. It is formed at Trent Falls, Faxfleet, by the confluence of the tidal rivers Ouse and Trent. From there to the North Sea, it forms part of the boundary between the East Riding of Yorkshire on the north bank and North Lincolnshire on the south bank.
Headquarters North East was a regional point of command based in North East England and Yorkshire and the Humber. The command administered the reserve units based in its area and also provided the military support HQ for the police and civilian population in the area.
