It is one of the twelve schools of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District [2] and serves students in the Etiwanda community on the northeast side of Rancho Cucamonga.
The district formed on May 8, 1883, and began as a single room at the southwest corner of East Avenue and Baseline Road.
