The Pima Post is the student newspaper at Pima Community College. It was created in the 1970s as the Campus News (1973 to 1977), then named the Aztec Campus News (1977–1978), the Aztec News (1978–1981), the Aztec Press (1982–2021) before becoming the Pima Post in 2021. [28]

It is on the city's eastern boundary, on 160 acres (650,000 m 2) of land belonging to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The lease was taken out in 1970 and expires in 2069.
This name was changed to Eastern Arizona Junior College in 1950, then simply Eastern Arizona College in 1966. In 1962, it was the inaugural member of Arizona's newly created Junior College system. [2] The 1960s was a time of growth and the college purchased nearby farmland to extend their campus. In 1972 a fine arts center was completed.
