To constitute India's 18th Lok Sabha, general elections were held in April–June 2024.The result was announced on 4 and 5 June 2024.The main contenders were two alliance groups of the Incumbent National Democratic Alliance and the Opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance; led by Bharatiya Janata Party and Indian National Congress respectively.
