The Public Schools Athletic League, known by the abbreviation PSAL, is an organization that promotes student athletics in the public schools of New York City. It was founded in 1903 to provide and maintain a sports program for students enrolled in New York City public schools. It is the oldest and largest sports league in the United States. [1]

1995 – In 1995, the Liberty League was founded as the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA). Charter members included Clarkson University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the University of Rochester, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), St. Lawrence University, Skidmore College and Union College, effective beginning the 1995–96 academic year.

Grain Valley left the conference at the end of the 2017-18 school year and joined the Suburban Kansas City Conference. Warrensburg replaced Grain Valley. Center and Clinton were added beginning in the 2020-21 school year. Excelsior Springs departed after the 2021-22 school year and followed Grain Valley to the Suburban Conference.
The Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association ( EIVA) is a college athletic conference whose member schools compete in men's volleyball. Its member institutions are located in the Northeast United States . The EIVA Tournament champion receives one of six automatic bids to the NCAA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship.
