Nease High School is a high school in the St. Johns County School District, located in the Nocatee census-designated place [3] (with a Ponte Vedra, Florida postal address), in St. Johns County, Florida. It is a part of the St. Johns County School District. It was established in 1981.
In 1971, Nease was elected to the St. Johns County School Board, where he served as chairman for 17 years and became the School Board's driving force for 24 years.While on the School Board, Nease won the battle to build and develop what is now known as the First Coast Technical Institute.
To reduce overcrowding at Bartram Trail and Nease High School, two new high schools, Ponte Vedra High School and Creekside High School, were constructed and opened for the 2008–2009 school year. [27] From 2002 to 2006, the Florida Department of Education graded Bartram Trail as an "A" school, but in 2007, it was changed to a "B" school. [28]
1866 – St. Joseph Academy was founded and is the oldest Catholic high school in Florida. 1924 – Hastings High School is opened for farm children in the southwest corner of St. Johns county; 1959 – St. Augustine High School is the St. Johns county public high school; 1981 – Nease High School was opened to alleviate overcrowding at SAHS.

Tocoi Creek High School (TCHS) is a new public high school in the World Golf Village census-designated place, [3] in north central area of St. Johns County, Florida near St. Augustine. It is part of the St. Johns County School District and opened to students for the 2021-22 academic year. World Golf Village is zoned to Tocoi Creek. [3][4]
