Paramount Unified School District is a school district headquartered in Paramount, California, United States.. The district serves the city of Paramount, and portions of Bellflower, Compton, Lakewood, Long Beach, and South Gate, [1] with eleven elementary schools, five middle schools, one comprehensive high school (Paramount High School), and a number of other educational facilities.
It is the fourth-largest school district in Riverside County. The district's Board of Education elections take place in November of even-numbered years and elected members to serve four-year terms. The Board of Education is composed of five members, elected by geographical districts called Trustee Areas.
