The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is the air branch of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It is the youngest branch of the Nigerian Armed Forces,established 4 years after the nation became independent. As at 2021, the air force is one of the largest in Africa, consisting of over 18,000 personnel. [3]
On the evening of 21 May 2021, a Nigerian Air Force Beechcraft King Air 350i with Ibrahim Attahiru and ten other occupants were on a visit to the northern state of Kaduna to attend a Nigerian Army recruit passing out parade the following day.
