Prince Sultan University (PSU) (Arabic: جامعة الأمير سلطان), formerly Prince Sultan College, is a private university in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Established in 1998, it is the first private institute of Saudi Arabia and was named after the country's then-defense minister Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who later served as the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 2005 until his death in 2011.
The university was established by royal decree in 2007 to transfer a branch of King Saud University in Al-Kharj to the independent university called the University of Al-Kharj, and the accession of all colleges in the saih, Dalam, Wadi dawaser, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Aflaj, and Alhareeq.
