Website. www .fifeschools .com. Fife Public Schools is a school district comprising parts of the Washington state cities of Fife, Milton, Edgewood, Tacoma, Pacific as well as unincorporated census-designated places Lakeland South and Fife Heights. The district was established on December 22, 1899.
Fife College was created on 1 August 2013 as a merger of Adam Smith College, Carnegie College and non land based elements of the Elmwood Campus of the rural college SRUC. [3] When the merger was announced in March of that year the new principal was named as Hugh Logan, formerly principal of Motherwell College. [4]

Fife was one of Scotland's historic counties, with a Fife County Council existing from 1890 to 1975. In 1975 Fife became a region with three lower-tier district councils: Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and North-East Fife. [6] Fife Regional Council and the three district councils were merged in 1996 to form a single council area, governed by Fife Council.
Queen Anne High School is a large secondary school in the city of Dunfermline in Fife. It is named for Anne of Denmark, the queen of James VI, whose former home was the school's original location. [3] In the 1930s it moved to the former Dunfermline High School building that lay to the north of Priory Lane. [4]
