It was owned by Kaplan, Inc., [when?] and offered associate and bachelor's degrees focused in business and information technology, and claimed a flexible class scheduling system tailored to a diverse group of students.
In May 2002, the college was acquired by Quest Education Corporation, a subsidiary of Kaplan, Inc. In December 2002, Quest changed its name to Kaplan Higher Education Corporation.
