Allen D. Nease High School is a high school in the St. Johns County School District, located in the Nocatee census-designated place [3] (with a Ponte Vedra, Florida postal address), in St. Johns County, Florida. It is a part of the St. Johns County School District .
With the addition of TCHS, the school district adjusted attendance zoning so some students who previously attended Allen D. Nease High School and Bartram Trail High School will instead attend the new school. [9] The primary feeder schools are Pacetti Bay Middle School and Mill Creek Academy. [10]
In 1971, Nease was elected to the St. Johns County School Board, where he served as chairman for 17 years and became the School Board's driving force for 24 years. While on the School Board, Nease won the battle to build and develop what is now known as the First Coast Technical Institute. For these achievements, the high school, Allen D. Nease Senior High School, was named after him. [3]

Howard served as the head football coach at Oregon Institute of Technology from 1990 until 1992, when the school dropped its football program. [2] He was later a high school coach of Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow at Allen D. Nease High School in Ponte Vedra, Florida, where his team won the high school state championship.
