The Big Muff Pi (π), often known simply as the Big Muff, is a "fuzzbox" effects pedal produced in New York City by the Electro-Harmonix company, along with their Russian sister company Sovtek, primarily for use with the electric guitar. It is used by bassists as well, due to the Big Muff's squeaky frequency response.

v. t. e. In radio communications, single-sideband modulation ( SSB) or single-sideband suppressed-carrier modulation ( SSB-SC) is a type of modulation used to transmit information, such as an audio signal, by radio waves. A refinement of amplitude modulation, it uses transmitter power and bandwidth more efficiently.
BJT parameters. The hybrid-pi model is a linearized two-port network approximation to the BJT using the small-signal base-emitter voltage, , and collector-emitter voltage, , as independent variables, and the small-signal base current, , and collector current, , as dependent variables.
Fundamental operation A block diagram of a PID controller in a feedback loop. r(t) is the desired process variable (PV) or setpoint (SP), and y(t) is the measured PV.. The distinguishing feature of the PID controller is the ability to use the three control terms of proportional, integral and derivative influence on the controller output to apply accurate and optimal control.
Edgar Buckingham circa 1886. In engineering, applied mathematics, and physics, the Buckingham π theorem is a key theorem in dimensional analysis. It is a formalisation of Rayleigh's method of dimensional analysis. Loosely, the theorem states that if there is a physically meaningful equation involving a certain number n of physical variables ...
Note that this figure also illustrates, in the vertical line segment ¯, that = . In general terms of powers of sin θ {\displaystyle \sin \theta } or cos θ {\displaystyle \cos \theta } the following is true, and can be deduced using De Moivre's formula , Euler's formula and the binomial theorem .
Social media. Social media are interactive technologies that facilitate the creation, sharing and aggregation of content, ideas, interests, and other forms of expression through virtual communities and networks. [1] [2] Although not unchallenged, [3] [4] common features include: [2] Online platforms that enable users to create and share content ...
