Nishikant Dubey (born 28 January 1969) is a member of India's 17th Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. [2] He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and represents the Godda constituency in Jharkhand since May 2009, having won the seat in 2009 (15-th Lok Sabha), 2014, 2019 and 2024.
The first mass rally he attended was in Jamshedpur 20th May 1973 after which in 1975 he accompanied N.E.Horo a sitting MP who called together a movement "Chalo Delhi for Jharkhand separate state" along with a large group of activists to Delhi, where a memorandum regarding the Jharkhand state was given to Indira Gandhi.
