Take control of where you'll end up after deleting or moving a message in AOL Mail. Choose to go back to the original folder, the next message, or the previous message after moving the email. 1. Click the Setting icon. 2. Click More Settings. 2. Click Viewing email. 3. Under "After moving a message," choose the option you want.

How email spoofing can affect AOL Mail. Spoofing happens when someone sends emails making it look like it they were sent from your account. In reality, the emails are sent through a spoofer's non-AOL server. They show your address in the "From" field to trick people into opening them and potentially infecting their accounts and computers.
Emails from specific senders may be set up to go to the trash or other folders. Select the email. Click Spam.; If you're given the option, click Unsubscribe and you will no longer receive messages from the mailing list. If you click the "Mark as Spam" icon, the message will be marked as spam and moved into the spam folder.
The ability to recall or unsend an email is not available in AOL Mail, because we provide a web-based service which sends messages instantly and once you send an email message, it's gone from your email server and out of our control.
