Check your account email client. One of the top reasons a user can't find their emails is due to settings from a third-party email client such as Outlook or the Mail app on your phone. Chances are the settings in the program are set to delete the emails from the AOL server each time you check your mail.

An email was sent to our customers in 2017 warning that AOL Mail would no longer be accessible through third-party apps if connection settings weren't updated by November 7, 2017. If you want to use the email app that comes with your Android device, just add your AOL Mail account through your device's settings. Though you should be able to set up the account automatically, you may need to set up the account manually with the POP or IMAP settings.
