It includes the Stricker Store and Farm, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. [1] Two previously important roadways ( Oregon Trail and the Kelton Road) met at this site.
Japanese-American internees in Idaho at the Minidoka War Relocation Center. The internment camp site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 10, 1979. A national monument was established in 2001 at the site by President Bill Clinton on January 17, as he invoked his authority under the Antiquities Act.
