In the summer of 2010, the Fox Theatre Redwood City was purchased by local entrepreneurs Eric Lochtefeld and Lori Lochtefeld, along with Eric's company Dream Careers Inc. It was reopened in September 2010. In February 2017, it was announced that Peter Pau had acquired the theater.
In 1946, voters approved the creation of the Sequoia Hospital District. Construction of the hospital began in 1949 as one of the first district hospitals in California. [3] The 106-bed hospital was dedicated on October 15, 1950 and the first patient admitted on October 25, 1950.
