Early life and education. Hinda was born on 9 September 1964 in Tses, South West Africa (today in the ǁKaras Region of Namibia). She matriculated at Suiderlig High School in 1983 and completed her B.Com. Hons in business administration at the University of the Western Cape in 2002.
