Shah Alam ( / ʃɑː ˈɑːləm /) is a city and the state capital of Selangor, Malaysia and situated within the Petaling District and a small portion of the neighbouring Klang District. The Shah Alam Expressway Shah Alam Expressway is a 57.5-kilometre (35.7-mile) controlled-access highway in Peninsular Malaysia running between Pandamaran in Klang, Selangor to Sri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur.
