NetIQ eDirectory is a directory service software product from NetIQ, formerly known as Novell Directory Services. It is an X.500-compatible, hierarchical, object oriented database that can store and manage network and server configuration data.
NetIQ is a subsidiary of OpenText that provides identity and access management, security and data center management products. It was founded in 1995 and has been acquired by The Attachmate Group, Micro Focus and OpenText since then.

Open Enterprise Server (OES) is a server operating system published by OpenText, formerly by Novell and Micro Focus. It is based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and offers various NetWare services and features.
