Cleburne State Park. Cleburne State Park is a 528-acre (2.14 km 2) Texas state park in Johnson County, Texas operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The park includes the 116-acre (0.47 km 2), spring-fed Cedar Lake that was created by construction of an earthen dam by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Historical courthouses of Johnson County. The original courthouse was at Wardville. It is still in existence today at a park on the banks of Lake Pat Cleburne, though it suffered damage at the hands of arsonists in 2007. In 1856, the county seat was moved to Buchanan and a new courthouse was built, which survived until at least the mid-1860s.
