The Common Service Center (CSC) Scheme and the CSC Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Company serve different roles within the Digital India initiative. The CSC Scheme is a government program aimed at providing digital access points for delivering various government and non-government services, especially in rural and remote areas.
Tele-law programme. The tele-law programme (also referred to as tele-law scheme, or tele-law initiative) is a legal program by the Indian government launched in 2017 via the Common Service Centres. The programme connects the disadvantaged people in India requiring legal advice from panel lawyers through an e-interface platform. [ 1][ 2][ 3]
The application was introduced at a later stage and could be accessed through any Government-authorized Common Service Center (CSC)/Arunoday Kendra. The Common Services Centres are being operated by the Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) who ensure the percolation of the National e-Governance Plan at the grass-root level.
