History. Santa Fe Catholic High School, a coeducational institution of the Diocese of Orlando, was founded in 1960 and officially opened on September 5, 1961, as Central Catholic High School. [3] Classes were held for 50 students in grades nine and ten in the administration building at Lodwick Airport, known now as Tigertown.
On May 18, 2018, a school shooting occurred at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas, United States, in the Houston metropolitan area. Ten people – eight students and two teachers – were fatally shot, and thirteen others were wounded. [1] [2] Dimitrios Pagourtzis, a 17-year-old student at the school, was taken into custody.
