University of Kerala (1957-2015) 3. University of Travancore (1939-1957) The College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, commonly shortened to CET, is an engineering college in the Indian state of Kerala, situated in Thiruvananthapuram. Founded in 1939 by the Travancore monarch Chithira Thirunal, it is the state's oldest technical institution.
KTU was established by the Government of Kerala through an Ordinance on 21 May 2014. [7] Kuncheria P. Isaac, a former Member Secretary of the All India Council for Technical Education, was appointed as the first Vice-Chancellor of the university on 1 September 2014, and M.
