List of governors. Following is the list of governors of Jharkhand since its inception on 15 November 2000. As of date, ten governors have been appointed to office. The first governor was Prabhat Kumar who served from 2000 till 2002. The current governor is C. P. Radhakrishnan who has been in office since 18 February 2023.
Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University (JRSU) is a state university [2] located at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was established by the Government of Jharkhand through the Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University Act, 2016. [3] It offers courses in the fields of police science and security management.

Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad came into existence by the Jharkhand Government notification of 23 March 2017, published as Gazettes notification No. 216 (Extra Ordinary) dated 11 April 2017.
