Youth / CUT Ixias Britz was selected to represent the Griffons at the Under-16 Grant Khomo Week competition in 2005 and at the Under-18 Craven Week competition the following year. In 2007, he represented them at the Under-18 Academy Week and also played for the Griffons U19 side in the 2007 Under-19 Provincial Championship.

The first-degree programmes were offered in 1999 under the control of the University of Zimbabwe. Soon afterwards, in 2001, the institution gained full university status.
