Cayuga Community College, [3] formerly Cayuga County Community College, is a public community college in Cayuga County, New York, United States. It is part of the SUNY system and began in 1953 as Auburn Community College. Its main campus is in Auburn, New York. The college also serves Oswego County with its branch campus in Fulton.
History. Balboa High School is named for 16th-century Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa.Founded in 1928, campus construction was completed in 1931. In the spring of 1952, students at Balboa invented a variation on a conga line dance which inspired bandleader and songwriter Ray Anthony to compose an accompanying hit song with the same name, "The Bunny Hop".

St. Joseph's served as the mother church for the German Catholic churches in the region. Many of these satellite churches and schools lured away parishioners and students, causing building replacements to the complex and finally closure and sale in the 1970s. The church suffered a serious fire in October 1974.

Cayuga is located on the eastern shore of the northern end of Cayuga Lake. New York State Route 90 is a north–south highway through the village.
