Jefferson Parish Public Schools is a school district based in Harvey in unincorporated Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, United States. In November 1992, Natchitoches Central High School was one of five Louisiana public high schools nominated for the Blue Ribbon Schools Excellence in Education Award in a national program sponsored by the United States Department of Education.
