Homer Glen is a village, located 32 miles (51 km) southwest of downtown Chicago, in Will County, Illinois, United States, with a small portion in Cook County. Per the 2020 census, the population was 24,543. [3] The village was incorporated on April 17, 2001. The area that is now Homer Glen was formerly known as "Goodings Grove".
The district covers parts of Cook, Du Page and Will counties, as of the 2011 redistricting which followed the 2010 census.
