The University of Central Florida (UCF) is a public research university with its main campus in unincorporated Orange County, Florida. It is part of the State University System of Florida. With 68,442 students as of the fall 2022 semester, UCF has the fourth-largest on-campus student body of any public university in the United States.

The UCF Knights football team represents the University of Central Florida in the sport of American football. The Knights compete in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and are a member of the Big 12 Conference. [ 5 ] Their head coach is Gus Malzahn.
The UCF Knights women's outdoor track and field team was organized in 1984; the indoor track and field team was formed in 2006. The University of Central Florida joined Conference USA in 2005, and the Knights track team began to compete in C-USA in 2006. [2] UCF joined the American Athletic Conference in 2013. [4]
The 2024 UCF spring exhibition game was played on Friday April 12 at FBC Mortgage Stadium. The team was split into two squads for gameplay, the Knights and the 'Nauts. Two 12-minute halves were followed by a series of player skill challenges. Quarterback KJ Jefferson threw for 271 yards and two touchdown passes.
