The Alabama–Huntsville Chargers ice hockey (commonly referred to as the UAH Chargers) were an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represented the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The program was discontinued in 2021 due to funding issues and lack of conference membership.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville ( UAH) is a public research university in Huntsville, Alabama. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and comprises eight colleges: arts, humanities & social sciences; business; education; engineering; honors; nursing; science; and graduate.
The college is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of pharmacy. Each entering class to the college consists of around 120 students. The total student body has close to 420 PharmD students and 55 PhD candidates.
UAH has played their home games at Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama since the inception of the program in 1979. The Chargers claim three National Club Championships and two NCAA Division II National Championships in addition to making a pair of appearances in the NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament.
