Contents. Alabama–Huntsville Chargers men's ice hockey. The Alabama–Huntsville Chargers ice hockey (commonly referred to as the UAH Chargers) were an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represented the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The program was discontinued in 2021 due to funding issues and lack of conference membership.
