In addition to the Sedalia campus, there are extended campus locations in Boonville, Lake of the Ozarks, Clinton, Warsaw, and Whiteman AFB. [3] The college enrolled 4,284 students in 2019.
As of 2012 a small building (named the Library Learning Center) was renovated and used by State Fair Community College for people pursuing an associate's degree or a high school equivalency diploma. SFCC remodeled the large northernmost building (named Science Hall) starting in 2015.

History. MCC is the oldest public college in Kansas City, Missouri, and the first community college established in the state of Missouri. It was founded in 1915 as Kansas City Polytechnic Institute, with its campus at 11th and Locust streets initially offering a junior college program, a teacher training school, a high school, a mechanic arts school, a trade school, and a business training school.
