Lower Merion School District in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Lower Merion High School's old building. In 1894, with the consolidation of the area's three village high schools (Merion Square, Bryn Mawr, and Ardmore), Lower Merion began its first year in a stone building shared with the Ardmore Avenue Elementary School in Ardmore.

The college was established in 1962 through an act of parliament, under the leadership of the then-Minister of Health Wajid Ali Khan Burki. [1] In 1965, the Library of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was established and since its inception has acquired latest medical literature and served as a focal point in supporting postgraduate medical education.

In 2015, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett ordered that the Confederate statue be removed from Rockville's courthouse lawn. [68] In February 2017, Montgomery County officials made a deal to move the statue to land owned by the operator of White's Ferry. [68] The statue was moved to its new location in July 2017. [69]
