A former member of the Editorial Board of Computer Graphics Forum, he serves on the Editorial Boards of the Springer Virtual Reality Journal and the Springer/Nature Human–Computer Interaction Series. He has co-authored over 300 papers, books, and peer-reviewed conference articles. As of 2023, Jorge has graduated 17 PhD students.
