When emails go missing in AOL Mail, it's often due to a few simple things; either the message is in the wrong folder, your third-party mail client's settings, or your account was deactivated due to inactivity. Check your other folders. The first thing place to check if you're missing mail is to check your other folders.
1. Go to AOL Mail. 2. Next to the search box, click the Drop down icon . 3. Select the part of your account you want to search. 4. Click the Search icon.

The AOL app lets you sort your emails by sender. This can help you locate all messages sent by a sender in case you're looking for a specific message, or in case you want to tidy up your inbox. Open your Inbox in the AOL app. Tap Edit, located in the top right of the screen. Tap the Sender option at the top of the screen. Tap View all emails ...
Delete a single email. Click on the conversation where the email is located. Click the More Icon | click Delete Message. Delete a full conversation. Locate the thread you want to delete. Click in the box to the left of the message. Click Delete at the top of your Inbox.
