Tornado outbreak of May 26–June 1, 2013. 302 mph (486 km/h) ( El Reno, OK EF3 tornado on May 31) [1] (The winds were not used in the survey; thus, the tornado was rated EF3 instead of EF5.) A prolonged and widespread tornado outbreak sequence affected a large portion of the United States in late-May 2013 and early-June 2013.
2013 El Reno tornado. During the early evening of Friday, May 31, 2013, an extremely large and powerful tornado [a] occurred over rural areas of Central Oklahoma. This rain-wrapped, multiple-vortex tornado was the widest tornado ever recorded and was part of a larger weather system that produced dozens of tornadoes over the preceding days.
19. Tornado outbreak of April 27–30, 2014 – This was a first day of the aforementioned outbreak. A small high-risk area was issued at the 2000Z outlook that included the cities of Little Rock, Camden, and Danville for a 30% probability of significant tornadoes.

High risk convective outlook issued by the Storm Prediction center at 13:00 UTC on May 6 May 6. Starting April 30, the Storm Prediction Center noted that certain models, including the ECMWF, forecasted a multi-day period of high instability and supportive wind shear across the Southern and Central Plains, and by May 1, a 15% risk was added across Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and northern Texas.
