I am a student from Mooresville High School. It has come up in recent months that the school is functioning way over capacity and has been for several years (since 2000). Because of this, our school corporation has held several community forum meetings to discuss building a new school.

It was built in 1860–1861, and is a two-story, rectangular, Greek Revival style brick building with a low gable roof.
