Tocoi Creek High School (TCHS) is a new public high school in the World Golf Village census-designated place, [2] in north central area of St. Johns County, Florida near St. Augustine. It is part of the St. Johns County School District and opened to students for the 2021-22 academic year.
2008 – Creekside High School and Ponte Vedra High School are opened to alleviate overcrowding at Bartram Trail and Nease, respectively. 2021 – Tocoi Creek High School, in the World Golf Village area of the county, opened to students in Fall 2021. 2022 – Beachside High School, opened in Fall 2022 on CR-210
Bartram Trail High School opened in the Fall of 2000 to alleviate overcrowding. Due to the continual growth in Northwest St. Johns County area, Ponte Vedra High School was built and opened in the Fall of 2008. The change is particularly drastic for Tocoi Creek, which for most sports lands in the class for Florida's largest schools alongside county rivals like Bartram Trail, Creekside and Nease.
