All Wikipedia pages are created by accessing a page title that does not yet exist, usually by clicking on a red-colored link (which denotes non-existence, as opposed to a blue link which, with some exceptions, indicates the linked page exists). Creation is simple: upon clicking a red link, you will be transported to a blank page.
Creating an empty page. The easiest way to create a new page with a given title is to type the desired title into the Wikipedia search box. If no page exists whose title exactly matches it, you will be given the option to create one. A new page is distinguished from a blank page: the latter has a page history.
Intentionally blank pages are usually the result of printing conventions and techniques. Chapters conventionally start on an odd-numbered page ( recto page ); therefore, if the preceding chapter happens to have an odd number of pages, a blank page is inserted at the end.
