In 1924, the school was renamed Elmhurst College [8] [9] and became a four-year college for men. The college seal was designed in the 1920s by Robert Leonhardt, [ 10 ] first registrar of the college, who also served as coach of the football team.
Michael Murray (born c. 1961) is an American football coach. He is the head football coach for Elmhurst University, a position he has held since 2023. [1] [2] [3] He was the head football coach for the University of Dubuque from 1997 to 1999, Benedictine University from 2000 to 2001, and the Bloomington Extreme of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
