The T5-52 is a South African truck-mounted self-propelled howitzer and is the latest piece of South African Artillery that was launched in 2018. 6 units of T5-52 SPHs were received from Denel as a replacement for the 6 G5 towed howitzers sold to Saudi Arabia. The Army plans to acquire more T5-52s if funding is sufficient.
