California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM or Cal State San Marcos) is a public university in San Marcos, California. It was founded in 1989 as the 21st campus in the California State University (CSU) system. CSUSM offers 43 bachelor's degree programs, [7] 23 master's degree programs, an Ed.D. program, and 13 teaching credentials. [8] [9]
The new San Marcos High School opened in August 2007, and all the elementary schools in the district were completed and opened by Fall of 2009. In 2011, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. [2] In May, 2013, San Marcos Consolidated ISD voters approved another $77 million in bonds.
Dr. Corey Carothers, D.D.S. Dr. Carothers grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. After high school, he attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Carothers received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006 from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he received the Clinical Excellence Award.
