Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, branded as Seneca Polytechnic since 2023, [3] is a multi-campus public college in the Greater Toronto Area and Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. It offers full-time and part-time programs at the baccalaureate , diploma, certificate , and graduate levels.
The Seneca Princemen were formed in 1962 as the Scarborough Firefighters. Later, they became the official music group of Seneca College in 1972, changing their name correspondingly. [62] After the 1975 season, the director of the Seneca Princemen wished to retire, and the Toronto Optimists seized the opportunity to combine the two groups.
Rick Miner is a Canadian educator and the fourth president of Seneca College serving from 2001 through 2009. Miner succeeded President Steve Quinlan. [1]Prior to Seneca, Dr. Miner was Vice-President at the University of New Brunswick and served as Director of the Canada/China Language and Cultural Program, Dean of Commerce and MBA Director at Saint Mary’s University in Nova Scotia.
