The Live Oak School District contains 6 schools in Live Oak, Santa Cruz County, California. The district was founded in 1872 by Martin Kinsley, an Irish immigrant. The first school in the district was the Live Oak School House. The superintendent, Lorie Chamberland, was appointed in 2018.
The district's 23 campuses are located throughout northern Hays County, serving nearly 20,000 students. [ 2 ] In 2009, the school district was rated " academically acceptable " by the Texas Education Agency .
The school opened on 12 July 2010, having been created under the Building Schools for the Future programme [2] to replace The George Ward Technology College.. At first a community school administered by Wiltshire Council, Melksham Oak Community School converted to academy status in April 2015.

Portslade Aldridge Community Academy is located on Chalky Road in Portslade. It was previously located over three sites, however £12.7 million was invested in extending the Chalky Road site [3] to include a dance studio, community library, and STEM Centre, completed in 2014.
