On February 26, 2021, the Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was approved for use by Health Canada and on March 5, 2021, the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine was approved for use by Health Canada. Johnson & Johnson only requires one shot for administration. Shipments of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine arrived in the province on March 3, 2021.
